Our onsite process is implemented in the workplace by our professional, highly trained team of onsite wellness coaches (all our employees, and the largest onsite staff in the coaching industry) that we embed in the workplace to serve as our “wellness boots on the ground”.
There, in the workplace, our coaches directly and personally, one-on-one and face-to-face, systematically and continuously, reach out to, interact with and coach virtually all employees, each according to their personal needs. Through this intense interactive process, we personalize wellness by really getting to know employees and their needs. As a result, our coaches establish themselves as trusted advisors, advocates and catalysts for healthy lifestyles, and improved health and quality of life.
Interactions are conducted during coaches’ regularly scheduled, frequent and rotating rounds throughout all work areas to which they have been assigned (work groups, departments, locations and shifts). Generally, across our book of business, we conduct coaching interactions with 80% to 90%+ of all employees in the populations we serve, with each of our coaches conducting 5,000 to 7,000 personal, one-on-one and face-to-face coaching interactions each year.
Wellness coaching Issues addressed include lifestyle behavioral risks such as:
- Nutrition and healthy eating
- Diet and weight loss
- Smoking cessation
- Alcohol abuse
- Medication noncompliance…
In addressing these issues, our wellness coaches promote and integrate the use of all of our customers’ other health promotion resources as tools in the health risk improvement process.
