Our Methodology
Coaching Interactions
During their rounds, our coaches “reach out” to employees on a very personal and human level through one-on-one and face-to-face coaching interactions designed to move each employee progressively through the stages of change to improved lifestyle behaviors and better health. Coaching interactions are customized to meet the personal needs and goals of each employee served while also accommodating their individual health and stage of change status. Each of our wellness coaches conducts 30 to 40 such interactions every day (7,000 to 8,000 per year).
In addition to their onsite, face-to-face coaching responsibilities, our wellness coaches conduct telephonic and email coaching interactions for remotely located employees and other employees for whom onsite coaching is not logistically practical, for employee spouses/domestic partners, and as a supplement to face-to-face coaching when necessary and appropriate.
